Who To Invite

Picking your guest list is entirely up to you. If you aren't sure about mixing co-workers with friends at your baby shower, due to either too many guests or cousin Alecia the prankster, then it is more than ok to have more than one baby shower. We feel baby shower guest lists should include: Close friends, special co-workers, cousins, sisters, grandmothers, close neighbors and above all, the in-laws.

 

What About Extra Guests

An all too important question. I can't tell you how many baby shower's I have gone too where uninvited people came with the invited ones. Should you wish to keep unwanted guests from arriving, please be sure to add a special note to each invitation, either on the invitation in print, or on an added note.

 

When To Send

We always suggest to mail your invitations at least 2 weeks before the event, we prefer 4 weeks to be the proper time limit. The reason we choose these time frames is that it should give those who will be working on that baby shower day special time to request it off.

 

Important Word Additives

If you have important information, feel free to place it on the invitation. Our baby shower invitations are fully customizeable, this means you can add any and all wording you wish to an invitation. We will change the size of the wording and rearrange some graphics to create a cute little baby invitation you will love.

 

Some important things you should add to invitations may include: driving instructions, where mom is registered, who is giving the baby shower, any special gift requirements and any special information such as "mom is allergic to nylon" so that they won't purchase this type of item in a gift.

 

What About Pictures

Adding a picture of a child is very adorable. If choosing our invitations, please contact us about custom work. We can add a picture to an existing item or make one from your own ideas. Some pictures you can put on the invitation are babies' first picture as well as the ultrasound. For this type of invitation, we will send a proof for you to accept before printing.

 

Thank You Cards

It is always good to send a thank you card, but you don't need a fancy one when sending. If you would like, you can purchase thank you baby shower cards at your local office supply store in bulk. Just write in your thank you and send. We also can make thank you cards to match your invitations. We place any special message at the top or say "thank you" with lines for writing in the rest. The baby shower thank you note will look just like the invitation. We keep the lined area because hand writing a message shows just how much you care.
